DODOMA April 26. 2024 (Saba) -155 people have been killed in Tanzania by heavy rainfalls linked to L-Nino phenomenon that led to floods and clay slips.

The L-Nino-linked heavy rains resulted in mass damages in different parts of the country, AFP quoted the Tanzanian prime minister, Qasim Majalio, as saying at Parliament session on Thursday.

Over 51,000 households and 200,000 people were affected, 236 people were injured and over 10,000 houses were damaged by the rains.
