TEHRAN March 27. 2024 (Saba) - Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Sayyed Ali Khamenei has affirmed that his country will not hesitate to support the Palestinian cause and the oppressed and resisting people of Gaza.
During his meeting with head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Ismail Haniyeh and his accompanying delegation, Khamenei hailed the historical patience of Gazans in defending their land, according to Iranian news agencies.
For his part, Haniyeh, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the popular and governmental support provided by the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Palestinian cause, especially the people of Gaza, and provided an explanation of the latest field and political developments of the Gaza war.
Haniyeh said that exemplary patience and steadfastness of the people of Gaza and the resistance forces during these six months, resulting from their firm faith, led to the Zionist enemy not achieving any of its strategic goals in the Gaza war.
Haniyeh stressed that "al-Aqsa Flood" operation destroyed the myth that the Zionist enemy's army is invincible, adding after six months, the Zionist enemy has suffered heavy losses, killing and wounding thousands of soldiers of this entity.
He said that the United States is a major partner in the crimes of the Nazi enemy for its direct undertaking the military direction for the Zionist entity and weaponizing it.
