MOSCOW March 23. 2024 (Saba) - Editor-in-Chief of the Russian RT news channel and the Rossiya Segodnya media group, Margarita Simonyan, published a video clip of the interrogation of one of the suspects of carrying out the terrorist attack on the Crocus shopping center on the outskirts of Moscow yesterday.
The suspect in the attack said during his interrogation at his place of detention that he arrived from Turkey on March 4 and was recruited via Telegram about a month ago.
The suspect explained: “They wrote to me via Telegram... without mentioning their names or any other details,” and that the “supervisors” offered him an amount of 500,000 rubles (about 5,000 dollars) in exchange for carrying out a random killing, and his mission was simply to kill “any people.” They are in the place they specified.
The detainee stated that his sponsors paid him half the amount by transferring it to his bank card.
Simonyan expressed her conviction that the mastermind behind the Crocus attack was the Ukrainian regime and not ISIS, as the American and Western media claim.
