TEHRAN March 22. 2024 (Saba) - The Iranian Space Organization announced today, Friday, the near completion of the manufacture of heavy satellite carriers “Sarir” and “Qaim.”
Tasnim International News Agency reported that the head of the Iranian Space Organization, Hassan Salarieh, said in a statement that the Pars 2 satellite will be completed in the next few months.
He added, “We have finished making the Nahid 3 satellite, which is a communications satellite.”
He continued, “On our agenda is the design and construction of carriers for heavy satellites such as “Sarir” and “Qaim 105 and 120.”
The head of the Iranian Space Organization expressed his hope to carry out the first launch from the Chabahar Earth Station next year.
Salaria added the “Saman 2” and “Zafar 2” satellites to the space organization’s agenda.
