GAZA March 13. 2024 (Saba) - The solar panels on top of Baptist Hospital building in Gaza City were destroyed on Wednesday as air aid boxes fell on them.
The Palestinian Information Center quoted eyewitnesses as saying: “Airplanes dropped a number of aid boxes, causing some of them to fall on the roof of the Baptist Hospital building, which led to the destruction of the solar panels that provide electricity to the hospital.”
Solar energy is the only source of electricity in the sector. In light of the complete cut off of fuel and the Zionist enemy preventing it from entering the Gaza Strip.
Tweeters and activists on social media platforms demanded an end to what they described as nonsense and lies called aid.
It is noteworthy that last Friday, air aid boxes caused the death of five people and the injury of others when they fell on the heads of citizens as a result of the wrong landing.
The government media office in Gaza had issued a statement confirming that airdrops were useless, and that they were not the best way to bring in aid... reiterating the demand to open the land crossings.
