GAZA February 29. 2024 (Saba) - Hamas has confirmed that the massacre committed by the enemy against citizens who were waiting for humanitarian aid in western Gaza came to starve and displace the Palestinians from their territories.
The Zionist enemy forces commit a bloody massacre at dawn on Thursday against hundreds of Palestinian citizens who were trying to receive aid west of southern Gaza, according to the Palestinian Media center.
Hamas said in a statement “In a heinous massacre added to the long series of massacres committed by the criminal Zionist entity against our Palestinian people, indifferent to the consequences of its terrorist actions due to the cover and complicity of the administration of US President Biden in its aggression, the Zionist enemy army proceeded to target a gathering of thousands of citizens while they were waiting to receive food aid in Gaza City, which led to dozens of martyrs and hundreds of others suffering various injuries.”
Hamas added the heinous massacre, which is unprecedented in the history of war crimes, comes within the framework of the war of starvation carried out by the criminal enemy against our people, aiming to displace them from their land, in implementation of its malicious plan aimed at obliterating the Palestinian cause.
It called on the League of Arab States and the UN Security Council to meet urgently, to take decisions obligating the criminal entity to stop the mass killing and ethnic cleansing in Gaza, and to stop all its violations of international laws, and its violation of the decisions of the International Court of Justice.
Hamas also called on the Arab countries in particular to break the silence regarding the Zionist crime of genocide against the people and to immediately implement the decision of the Arab-Islamic Summit on November 11 of last year, which emphasized breaking the Zionist siege and immediately bringing food and medical aid into the Gaza Strip.
It directed its call to the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations and all the free people of the world to hold widespread popular activities and demonstrations denouncing the Zionist massacre against the Palestinian people, and to put pressure on governments to take effective and strong positions against the entity and its Nazi war criminal leaders.
Hamas reiterated its assertion that the international community and the United Nations are required to assume their responsibilities and legal duties in stopping the mass killing of the children and people of Palestine, and to stop the crime of the era committed openly by the criminal entity day and night, and they are required to take all necessary measures to safely deliver emergency food aid to the people throughout the Strip.
It held the Zionist enemy, its fascist government, its Nazi army, President Biden, and the American administration fully responsible for morning massacre, and for the escalation of the war of extermination and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians.
The Palestinian Information Center reported that thousands of citizens gathered on al-Rashid Street, west of Gaza, at dawn Thursday, waiting for trucks carrying aid. Once they arrived, enemy tanks targeted the citizens with shells and bullets, leading to dozens of martyrs and hundreds of wounded.
