In this context, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza Strip announced that the Zionist enemy forces committed a new “massacre” against thousands of hungry mouths who were waiting to receive aid near the Kuwait Roundabout intersection south of Gaza City, killing at least 20 Palestinian citizens and injuring 150.
Ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said in a brief statement today: “The Zionist enemy is committing a new massacre against thousands of hungry mouths who were waiting for humanitarian aid at the Kuwait roundabout in Gaza.”
He explained that "this massacre resulted in the death of 20 Palestinians and the injury of 150 others."
He pointed out that the number of victims "is likely to increase as a result of dozens of serious injuries that arrived at Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza, which lacks medical capabilities."
This is not the first time that the Zionist enemy army has targeted gatherings of Palestinian citizens waiting for scarce humanitarian and relief aid that rarely reaches Gaza Governorate and the northern Gaza Strip.
Eyewitnesses confirm that the enemy army targeted citizens who were waiting to receive aid with artillery shells and shooting from drones towards them, noting that “the expected aid has not yet arrived in Gaza province.”
On January 2, the UN agency UNRWA announced that aid had been brought into Gaza and northern provinces in the Strip since December 27, for the first time after the end of the humanitarian truce one week on the first of the same month.
UNRWA spokesman Adnan Abu Hasna said in a statement to Anadolu Agency at the time: “The average number of trucks entering daily for about a week is estimated at about five to seven trucks, loaded with food supplies.”

Zionist enemy imposed further complications on the process of entering, distributing, and receiving the already limited humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip.

The United Nations court said that it will hold a plenary session at the Peace Palace in the Hague, during which the president of the court, Judge Joan Donoghue, will announce the order of the committee consisting of 17 judges.
The court may issue an order to the Zionist enemy forces to stop their war on Gaza within the framework of what are called “temporary measures”, in order to protect the Palestinians of Gaza until the essence of the case is decided, which may take years.
In addition, Thomas White, Deputy Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, described the ongoing Zionist attacks on civilian sites in Khan Yunis as completely unacceptable and must stop immediately.
White said in a press statement today: “People are being killed and injured... and as the fighting intensifies around hospitals and shelter centers hosting displaced people, are being besieged inside them and life-saving operations are being obstructed.”
He explained that the situation in Khan Yunis confirms the continuing failure to respect the basic principles of international humanitarian law: “distinction, proportionality and precaution when launching attacks.” He described the matter as abhorrent and completely unacceptable and must stop immediately.
White called for the necessity of taking all necessary measures to protect civilians, stressing that the protection of hospitals, clinics, medical teams and UN facilities is clearly stipulated in international law.
