MADRID January 21. 2024 (Saba) - Thousands of people demonstrated in Madrid and other Spanish cities carrying Palestinian flags and chanting slogans against the Zionist enemy entity, and demanding “to stop the genocide in Palestine.”
In Madrid, the Spanish government confirmed that about 25,000 demonstrators marched between Atocha station and Cibeles Square in the center of the capital.
The main banner, in the colors of the Palestinian flag, called on the Spanish government to "end the arms trade and relations with the Zionist enemy entity (Israel)."
Some demonstrators carried signs writte6 in English, “Stop genocide.”
Demonstrations also took place in other major Spanish cities, including Barcelona, Valencia, and Seville, called for by the “Shabaka” platform for solidarity against the occupation of Palestine, under the slogan, “Let us stop the genocide in Palestine.”
