The US Department of Defense dismissed Colonel Nathan McCormack, who advised the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on issues related to Israel, after he posted a series of tweets that included sharp criticism of Israeli policies, particularly during the aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The Daily Wire newspaper, citing the Joint Chiefs of Staff, reported that the incident was referred to the US military for further investigation and appropriate action, while McCormack's account was deleted from social media platforms.
