SANA'A Jan 03. 2024 (Saba) - On the twentieth of Jumada al-Akhirah, International Muslim Women’s Day, the women of Yemen commemorate the birth anniversary of Fatima Al-Zahra - peace be upon her - as the the ultimate example of Muslim and non-Muslim women, with unique qualities and distinctions that made her the mistress of the women of the worlds.
In this report, we will not go away from reality. We will dig deeper into the truth in search of a proper understanding of the course of history and of the realities of Yemeni women, who have taken from Ms. Al-Zahra a model of her life, career and social life.
Many are the research that touched upon the bright life or the oppressive life of the mistress of the women of the worlds to reveal to us a unique personality in all aspects of life despite the shortage of her life career, which has not exceeded 20 years, but she has perfected her role emanating from the House of Prophecy and has engaged in political and social dimensions to be a symbol for all women in the world.
She was the one who spent her childhood life with a father who shared with him the constant state of jihad to convey the message of Muhammad, in which she deeply believed. She was the struggling daughter who achieved the meaning of defending the truth to convey the message of Islam with the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
Fatima al-Zahra gained political experience from her father, the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. She was the one who did not leave him in every incident, in addition to the emotional state of the daughter’s defense of her father, who was harmed for the sake of conveying the truth.
Fatima al-Zahra's life is full of jihad and has not been bored even after the death of her father, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, to share his jihadist life with her husband, Imam Ali, peace be upon him. She was a great, sacrificing wife, a caring mother on the path of prophecy, and compassionate towards society, offering advice to educate the nation and spread awareness among its members. The teacher of her time, especially women, answered about the legal rulings and interpretation of the Holy Quran.
Intentional absence:
Muslim women were separated from role models and women of the worlds, especially Al-Zahra - peace be upon her - who was absent from educational and pedagogical curricula and from all intellectual and cultural means, writings, books and media, so that the nation would not have a close connection with those who were the symbol of faith in God, and the focus of connection with the divine method and message.
This systematic disappearance is nothing but a plan to glorify those who do not deserve it, and to erase the lives of those who see in him a threat to their plans. Al-Zahra became unknown except from some simple inherited stories and phrases. The result was a dwarfing of the role of the Muslim woman in her partnership with the man while she was supposed to advance with him on the ladder of human perfection and faith.
History has proven that there is no escape from returning to the figures of guidance to face the challenges with awareness, insight of the nature of the conflict and interactions lurking in the Muslim community, especially women.
The glorious revolution of September 21 came to bring about transformations at various levels, and strengthen the connection with the family of the Messenger of God and the figures of guidance. The Yemeni woman was not an exception in this revolution, but rather she took Al-Zahra as an example and a model to be imitated in order to perform her role in life by moving alongside her brother, the man. In a way that benefits society and contributes to fulfilling its responsibility based on its faith identity.
In light of the plans of the enemies of the nation to target Yemeni women and their attempts to corrupt them through soft war, the women of Yemen stand in the face of this war by adhering to the Qur’anic culture and faith identity and following the path of Fatima Al-Zahra, and exposing the plans of the enemies of the nation who harness all their capabilities to target women in particular and society in general.
The leader of the revolution, Mr. Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, stresses the need of Muslim women, in this time when the enemies of Islam and humanity are targeting them, to follow the example of Fatima al-Zahra in a way that achieves intellectual, cultural, and moral protection for her.
In his speech on the anniversary of the birth of the Lady of the Women of the Worlds, Mr. Leader was always keen to stress the importance of this occasion to consolidate the principles of faith that achieve and preserve women’s righteousness and dignity, preserve their dignity and humanity, and raise their status before God.
The symbolism of commemorating International Muslim Women’s Day:
On International Muslim Women’s Day, the anniversary of the birth of Fatima Al-Zahra - peace be upon her - the women of Yemen on the twentieth of Jumada Al-Akhira reaffirm the position that Al-Zahra occupies through their large presence to commemorate this occasion with cultural and awareness-raising events and activities and to deliver several messages to the enemies, the most important of which is confronting soft war based on the principle of faith. It is deeply rooted in Yemeni women, in addition to their role in confronting the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression over the past nine years.
Ministries, institutions, and governmental and private agencies are also witnessing women's activities to celebrate the birth anniversary of Al-Zahra, who is considered a role model and a good role model for Muslim women, and to revive her values and morals.
By commemorating this occasion, Yemeni women affirm to the world their pride and love for the creator of pride, dignity, chastity, and resistance to arrogance and tyranny in a world full of hypocrisy that targets women at all levels at a time when it pays lip service to protecting their rights.
