SANA'A December 28. 2023 (Saba) - The Ministry of Transport has confirmed that the movement of commercial container vessels and all vessels in the Red Sea, whether arriving to the ports of the Republic of Yemen or others, is fully safe.

The Ministry of Transport said in a letter of thanks to shipping line agents for their activity in the port of Hodeidah, a copy of which was obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), “Commercial container ships and all ships in the Red Sea, whether arriving at ports in Yemen or elsewhere, are in complete safety and we guarantee this.”

It added, "The Republic of Yemen is completely clear that the maritime embargo is limited to ships of the Zionist entity and ships heading to the ports of the Zionist entity, only until food and medicine are allowed to enter our brothers in the Gaza Strip and the end of the aggression."
