SANA'A December 21. 2023 (Saba)-During his speech in the Turkish Parliament, he strongly criticized his country's policy towards the Zionist enemy entity, especially the continuation of its commercial relations with this usurping entity, and considered it "very lenient"... Turkish MP Hasan Bitmez died as a result of a heart attack.
On Thursday, Turkish Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca officially announced on the “X” platform the death of MP Hasan Bitmez (53 years old), who fainted during his speech before the Grand National Assembly in Turkey on Tuesday, December 12, in Ankara City Hospital.
The death came days after Bitemiz collapsed in the Turkish Grand National Assembly on Tuesday, immediately after he criticized the Turkish government's policy regarding the war between the Zionist enemy entity and the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas.
In a translated version of his speech on Tuesday, Bitmez said: “Even if history remains silent, the truth will not remain silent... They think that if they get rid of us, there will be no problem... But if you get rid of us, you will not be able to escape the torment of conscience. “Even if you escape the torment of history, you will not be able to escape the wrath of God.”
Bitmez fainted on the podium at the end of his speech in which he condemned the policy of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan towards the Zionist enemy entity, especially the continuation of trade relations with it.
According to Turkish media, Bitmez was intending to finish his speech, in which he condemned the Zionist bombing Gaza, before he suddenly fell to the ground, in a moment captured by live broadcast cameras during the parliament session.
Members of Parliament quickly rushed towards Bitmez, trying to treat him, before transporting him to the hospital, where doctors indicated that he was now in “critical condition,” and the time of his death would be announced later.
A small ceremony was held for Bitmez on the grounds of the Turkish Parliament building on Thursday, and a small Palestinian flag was hung on his coffin next to the Turkish flag.
The Saadet Party, led by Bitmez, joined an opposition coalition that failed to oust Turkish President Erdogan in the presidential elections that took place in May.
Bitmez repeatedly criticized the Turkish Foreign Ministry and the Zionist enemy entity. In addition, on Tuesday, he accused Erdogan’s ruling Justice and Development Party (officially abbreviated as the Justice and Development Party or AKP) of continuing to engage in trade with the Zionist enemy entity.
During his speech, Bitmez was seen holding a banner that read, "Murderer Israel; collaborator AKP". He ended his speech by reading from a poem that ended with a reference to “the wrath of God,” and he was raising the slogan “Israel is a terrorist” next to him.
It is noteworthy that Bitmez was transferred to the hospital to receive further treatment, after one of the doctors present at the session provided first aid and massaged his heart. According to what was reported, his heart stopped but resumed beating after medical intervention. A later statement stated that the condition of the 53-year-old MP was Years old, it was described as dangerous and his life is still in danger.
The incident terrified parliamentarians, who quickly ran towards Bitmez, trying to help him, before transporting him to the hospital, where doctors indicated that he was now in “critical condition.”
One of his last courageous tweets critical of his country on the social networking site “X” was: “While the attack on Gaza was continuing, we sent 400 ships from Turkey to “Israel”... We shipped 4,000,000 tons... We provided fuel for the “Israeli” plane, and clothes for its soldiers, and parts of its weapons... Thank God we have sent our prayers to the Palestinians.”
In another tweet, he said: “We submitted a proposal for a parliamentary investigation to determine who belongs to the commercial ships heading to Israel from Turkish ports, the nature of the goods transported, and their impact on the war.
Unfortunately, our proposal was rejected by the votes of the Justice and Development Party representatives.” No investigation was conducted."
In a third tweet, MP Bitmez said: “If you have courage, stop those ships heading to Israel. If you have courage, go to the port and organize a protest in the port. Let us see you!”
It is noteworthy that Hasan Bitmiz is one of the members of the Turkish House of Representatives, representing the state of “Kocaeli”, and he is the vice-president of the “Islamic Saadet” Party in Turkey, which sits in the opposition, and is considered a conservative Islamist, and he had many positions against the Zionist entity and its barbaric war on Gaza, and he criticizes his country's government and parties, including the ruling party, as a result of the continued mutual relations with the Zionist enemy entity.
It seems that the heart of one of the Turkish MP could not bear the scenes of children who were turned into pieces or the tears of bereaved mothers, so he suffered a stroke while giving a speech in Parliament in which he addressed the violent bombing launched by the Zionist enemy on Gaza Strip, which has been under siege for nearly 70 days in light of great Arab and Islamic failure.
