SANA'A December 15. 2023 (Saba) -Governor of Sana'a, Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, confirmed that the success of community initiatives is the result of a true partnership between all components of society in the governorate, both official and popular.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), he noted the role of the steadfast community in the governorate, which provided thousands of martyrs which was the reason for the success of this experiment with a serious start with the community in implementing the initiatives, based on the directives of the leader of the Qur’anic march,al-Sayeed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din.
He explained that the past year 1444 AH witnessed many important community initiatives in the Bani Matar District, stressing that the current year 1445 AH is the year of real initiatives, based on the interest and keenness of President Mahdi Al-Mashat and his direct directions during his visit to the Bani Matar District.
Al-Hadi pointed out that after President Al-Mashat’s visit to the Bani Matar District, during which he witnessed the suffering in a number of villages in that district, and its lack of the most basic services and capabilities, everyone set out seeking help of Allha.
He stressed that most of the villages in the district witnessed many initiatives, some of which have been completed, and there are many initiatives being prepared to be implemented according to priorities.
Governor Al-Hadi expressed his hope that these initiatives would be completed in Bani Matar District, and then move on to other districts.
He urged unifying and redoubling efforts to achieve the achievement that everyone seeks.
He pointed out that there is a general trend for community initiatives to include other vital sectors such as health and education, but the priority currently is water and roads.
Bani Matar district witnessed remarkable activity in implementing community initiatives in the field of roads.
The number of initiatives that have been and are being implemented in the Directorate has reached 10 initiatives in the field of roads, with a length of 30 kilometers and 525 meters, at a cost of 225 million and 322 thousand riyals, and serving more than 6 thousand and 116 citizens from the villages and isolated areas of the Directorate.
Community initiatives achieved positive results, including raising the level of community awareness of the importance of community initiatives among citizens.
