SANA'A December 09. 2023 (Saba)- The special committee for preparing the executive regulations to combat human trafficking held its first meeting today,Saturday, headed by the Minister of Human Rights in the caretaker government, Ali Hussein Al-Dailami.
At the meeting, Minister Al-Dailami stressed the importance of accelerating the preparation of the executive regulations to combat human trafficking and defining the committee’s tasks and powers.
Al-Dailami explained that the success of the regulation to combat the phenomenon of human trafficking requires the cooperation of relevant ministries and government agencies, especially since the aggression coalition has exploited this file, , there are entities, gangs that trade in human beings and are managed by the aggression, which requires accelerating the issuance of the regulation.
He pointed out that, following the issuance of the regulation, a workshop will be held to accommodate comments from more than twenty government agencies so that the vision is complete and effective.
At the meeting, tasks were determined among the committee members according to a chronic plan for preparing the list.
