He pointed out that taxpayers joining the Golden List and benefiting from the privileges enhances the Authority’s efforts and directions aimed at establishing an effective partnership with the tax public and encouraging them to voluntarily comply with the payment of tax fees.
According to the head of the Tax Authority, joining the Golden List requires the taxpayer’s commitment to using the available electronic tax services applications, including the electronic declaration service and the electronic payment service.
Among the criteria for joining the list is not committing any acts of violations or crimes of tax evasion, in addition to the obligation to submit tax returns within the legal deadlines and pay the tax as it falls on the same day it is submitted.
Muhammad called on taxpayers to be keen to join the list and obtain golden privileges because it moves them to a new stage of partnership, especially with regard to drawing and formulating the general policy of the tax procedures system.
He stressed that the efforts made by the Authority during the past months in converting manual tax procedures into electronic templates achieved positive and fruitful results in terms of voluntary compliance in paying tax fees.
