AMRAN December 07. 2023 (Saba)- A training course in the field of enhancing food security and improving livelihoods for communities affected by the conflict, organized by Yemen Isnad Foundation for Relief and Reconstruction, concluded today in Amran province.

The course was held over a period of 36 days, within the Yemen Able project, in coordination with the branch of the Supreme Council for the Administration , Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation and the Office of Social Affairs, with funding from the European Union and implementation of the Response Foundation for Relief and Development in partnership with the ZOA organization.

At the conclusion, which was attended by the Director General of the Branch of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Hamyar Al-Saar, the Director General of the Social Affairs Office, Ibrahim Al-Dharhani, pointed out the importance of the course, which will make the participants productive and capable of overcoming the difficulties of life produced by the aggression and siege.

He praised efforts to support such projects that help displaced and poorest families to produce and find sources of income.

For his part, the project official, Muhammad Al-Qattaa, explained that the trainees were provided with the skills and information necessary to open their projects and were supported with integrated economic empowerment bags that include sewing machines with their accessories, which makes them able to produce and improve their income and livelihood.

Meanwhile, a speech by the trainees expressed thanks for the efforts made to make the economic empowerment program a success and to provide them with income-generating technical skills.
