SANA'A November 22. 2023 (Saba)- A number of Arab consumer protection associations called on all consumers to boycott Israeli goods and products and companies that support the Zionist entity, considering this one of the weapons effective in winning the right of the Palestinians.
In a statement issued by them, the Yemeni Society for Consumer Protection, the Consumer Association - Lebanon, the Lebanese Union for Consumer Protection, the Consumer Protection Association in Damascus and its countryside, the Algerian National Union for Consumer Protection, and the Algerian Organization for the Protection and Guidance of Consumers and their Environment called on all consumers of the Arab and Islamic peoples to show full solidarity with their brothers in Palestine by urging their governments to carry out their humanitarian, religious and national responsibilities towards the Palestinians.
The statement said, "Arab consumer associations stand in astonishment at the crimes of genocide, displacement, and siege to which the Palestinians are subjected, by the Israeli occupation, which continues to carry out its crimes with excessive Nazism and pours tons of explosives on hospitals, buildings, cities, neighborhoods, and on the heads of their residents."
It stated that for more than forty-five days, the process of bombing, destruction, killing, displacement and siege has continued in a blatant violation of the rights of millions of Palestinian civilians, which resulted in bloody crimes that the world has not witnessed for decades.
The associations called for stopping the war and lifting the siege on the Palestinian people immediately, opening all land, sea , air ports , crossings and allowing the entry of humanitarian aid, food and medicine without restrictions or conditions.
It stressed the need for all Arab regimes and governments to stand firmly in the face of what the Palestinians are exposed to, and to take all strict measures that would stop the aggression, lift the siege, accelerate the severing of relations, withdraw ambassadors, and stop exporting oil to countries that support Israel. Pointing out that Arab governments are concerned and responsible for taking everything necessary. It is necessary to save the Palestinians, stop the bloodshed, and restore Arab dignity.
Arab consumer protection associations saluted the courage and sacrifices of the defenders of the land of Palestine in the face of Zionist aggression... calling for more patience and steadfastness in order to gain their freedom, independence, and their right to live on their land with pride and dignity.
