OCCUPIED AL-QUDS November 20. 2023 (Saba) - Head of the Front Line Settlements Forum in northern occupied Palestine Moshe Davidovich has reported that 70,000 settlers are dispersed in the Zionist settlements, without clear answers from the occupation government regarding the return to their settlements in the north in light of Hezbollah’s military operations.
Davidovich said in an interview with the Zionist newspaper Maariv: “If Hezbollah remains in the north, the settlers will not return to this area, even if Zionist military forces remain in the settlements.”
He pointed out that he visits settlers who were transferred and they say themselves that they "will not return to their homes on the northern border until their lives are safe without a real security threat."
Davidovich pointed out that Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah "seems unaffected by the statements of the Prime Minister and members of the Cabinet, and is increasing the pace of launching missiles, drones, and anti-tank missiles at the border."
In turn, Vicki Tafaret, a settler in one of the settlements three meters away from the fence separating Lebanon, said that she is not ready to return and live in the north.
