DAMASCUS October 20.2023 (Saba) - Unidentified persons targeted the gas pipeline connecting to the "Coneco" natural gas plant, which is occupied by the US army as an illegal base in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor Governorate, eastern Syria.
Sputnik news agency quoted local sources as saying on Thursday night that the targeting of the gas transport pipeline used by the American occupation army and its agents to steal natural gas produced by the “Coneco” plant took place in the Abu Khashab desert area, west of the governorate.
The sources added that a huge explosion hit the pipeline and shook the entire area, followed by a full alert of the American occupation army and the militants loyal to it in the SDF militia, coinciding with an intense flight of helicopters and the American march overhead in the area searching for the perpetrators.
This morning, unknown persons launched an attack with drones, targeting two illegal military bases occupied by the so-called illegal “American coalition forces” in the “Koniko” natural gas field in the Deir ez-Zor countryside in eastern Syria, and at the "Al-Tanf" base, which the US Army uses at the triangle of the Syrian-Jordanian-Iraqi border.
