IBB October 17.2023 (Saba) - Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, inaugurated on Tuesday inaugurated 58 service and development projects at a cost of 560 million and 51 thousand riyals, on the occasion of the celebration of the Yemeni Revolutionary Days of September, October and November.
His Excellency the President, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs - Minister of Finance in the caretaker government, Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum, heard from the Governor of Ibb, Abdul Wahed Salah, an explanation of the components of service and development projects, including 42 projects in the field of roads, benefiting 12,410 people, and eight projects. In the water sector, 45,000 people benefit, and eight health projects benefiting three thousand and 650 people.
His Excellency the President expressed his happiness at the opening of 58 service and development projects in Ibb Governorate in the midst of the celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of the October 14 Revolution.
He stressed that the Supreme Political Council is paying great attention to Ibb Governorate in implementing projects that contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens, in light of the current conditions that the country is going through as a result of the repercussions of the aggression and siege, praising the support of community initiatives for local development projects and their contribution to supporting the state’s efforts in various fields.
His Excellency the President explained that Ibb Governorate will enjoy the support of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council during the coming period.
The opening was attended by the Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Major General Abdul Latif Al Mahdi, the governorate’s general mobilization official, Yahya Al-Yousifi, and a number of members of the Shura Council, governorate deputies and officials.
It is worth noting that a number of projects were opened during the Prophet’s Birthday event for the year 1445 AH at a cost exceeding 12 billion riyals.
