HODEIDA Octobet 03. 2023 (Saba)-The activities of the second scientific conference on maternal and child health, held by Al Amal Arab Hospital, will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, in the city of Hodeida, with the participation of a group of experts, doctors and consultants.

Hospital Director, Dr. Abdul Majeed Al-Yousifi, explained that the conference will address, in two days, six vital topics on reproductive health, fertility, the most important modern medical practices, avoiding deficiencies in diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical medical procedures for diseases of pregnant mothers.

He pointed out that the conference will review the causes of malnutrition, the role of breastfeeding, psychological , neurological disorders and diseases that may affect the pregnant mother, as well as review the indicators of natural births, caesarean sections, maternal mortality rates and premature births.
