SANA'A October 03.2023 (Saba)-Public Health and Population Minister in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil, stressed the importance of sensing the meanings of benevolence, mercy, and patience in providing medical services to patients.
During his meeting today with the leadership, doctors and cadres of the Republican Hospital Authority in Sana'a, Dr. Al-Mutawakkil pointed out that the medical profession is a sacred humanitarian profession, and the reward and rewards are increasing in light of the circumstances that the country is going through as a result of the aggression, the siege, and the suspension of salaries.
He touched on the directives of the Revolution Leader of the , Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, and the Head of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, to provide medical services at the Republican Hospital Authority for the poor and needy for free, in partnership between the Authority, the Ministry of Health, and the General Authority for Zakat.
Health Minister stressed that step comes within the framework of the interest of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council to alleviate the suffering of the sick, the poor, and the needy who need medical and therapeutic services through the direct contribution of the Zakat Authority in providing these services.
He praised the steadfastness of the medical and health staff in the Republican Hospital Authority and in various health facilities in the provinces and their continued performance of their work despite the conditions of aggression and siege. He urged them to work to alleviate the suffering of patients and the overcrowding that occurred as a result of the great demand for medical services in the Authority.
