HODEIDA September 29. 2023 (Saba) - During their celebrations of the Prophet’s birthday this year 1445 AH, the people of the Red Sea painted an unparalleled picture of Muhammadan faith that was evident in the most beautiful forms of interaction since the beginning of the month of Safar.

This year, Hodeida Governorate was unique in having great official and popular momentum and wide participation in commemorating the birth of the Great Prophet.
Efforts were devoted early on in intensive preparations and the launch of a large number of proactive events and activities, in preparation for the commemoration of the religious anniversary.

The unprecedented mass flow from various directorates of Hodeida Governorate was reflected in the central ceremony in Martyr Al-Sammad Square, on Rabi’ al-Awwal 12, to deliver messages of Muhammad’s love.
The processions of people coming from all the districts to the celebration square varied, with young and old, and chants of support and authorization for the leader of the revolution that resounded the square, which is 500 meters long and 80 meters wide.

Thousands of children from the Hodeida districts participated in gathering in Al-Sammad Square, rejoicing, rejoicing, and glorifying the birth of the Messenger of God.

On the eve of the celebration, hundreds of Coast Guard members in the Red Sea sector participated in organizing performances and artistic formations in the waters of the Hodeida coast, including the slogans of the occasion.

Hodeida Governorate, in all its directorates, experienced an atmosphere full of joy in celebration of the arrival of this occasion, with a great momentum of events and celebratory evenings.
Activities celebrating the anniversary of the birth of the Messenger of God were characterized by various manifestations in various directorates, including songs of praise and poems in love with the Prophet.
The educational sector and all schools in the governorate participated in commemorating the Prophet’s birthday, with events and activities that varied between events, lectures, seminars, and broadcasts.
While the women's sector in Hodeida Governorate provided a model in reviving Mawlid events and widespread participation in reviving Dhikr gatherings.
The sports sector had a distinguished presence in inaugurating the tournaments marking the occasion with the participation of 32 of the governorate’s clubs, and presenting scouting performances with the participation of 1,700 young people as an expression of the warm welcome of this solemn religious occasion.
Coinciding with these festive events, the governorate witnessed the implementation of many charity and solidarity programs that targeted vulnerable segments, the sick, and orphans.
