SANA'A September 29. 2023 (Saba) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the two terrorist bombings that took place in Pakistan, targeting two mosques, during the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday, and resulted in the killing and wounding of dozens of citizens.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement - a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) - that such criminal acts come within a plan to target Islam and the nation’s adherence to its religion and its noble Prophet, which constitutes a threat to the projects of the dark forces.
The statement reaffirmed the Republic of Yemen’s firm position against extremism and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. As a threat to international peace and security, and contrary to religious values.
The statement expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished the wounded a speedy recovery, stressing that the Republic of Yemen stands alongside the brotherly people of Pakistan in the face of the scourge of terrorism.
