SANA'A September 29. 2023 (Saba) - The Traffic Media condemned the arbitrary action taken by YouTube to block and remove the Traffic Media channel on its platform.
In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Traffic Media considered the closure or deletion measures taken by YouTube to be unfair to the Yemeni free-sounding channels, without any justification.
He pointed out that YouTube's targeting of more than 80 Yemeni channels with closure comes within the framework of clear collusion with the aggression countries and their efforts to mislead global public opinion and attempt to hide the facts and crimes they have committed against the Yemeni people for more than eight years.
The statement stressed that this targeting, a violation of freedom of opinion and expression, reveals the true face of the countries of the aggression coalition and their bad intentions towards the steadfast Yemeni people, pointing out that these crimes will not be subject to a statute of limitations, and their perpetrators and the aggressors from the countries of aggression, their henchmen, and those who support them will be held accountable.
The statement stated that these arbitrary measures seek to obstruct the process and efforts to spread community awareness of the importance of traffic safety on the roads and access to safe and advanced traffic.
The Yemeni traffic media statement called on Ahrar Yemen to boycott YouTube and other communication platforms that target the free Yemeni voice, calling on the concerned authorities to take action against these platforms and ban them in light of the lack of response to the officials of the closed channels.
