SANA'A September 28. 2023 (Saba) - The Shura Council blessed and supported the decisions of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed. Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in the context of implementing the first phase of the radical changes, which he announced during the Prophet’s Birthday event.
In a statement on Thursday, the Council stressed the importance of the points included in Mr. Leader’s speech related to the necessity of relying on the constitutionality of the Qur’an during the next stage, and forming a government of national competencies that contributes to reforming state institutions, embodying true national partnership based on Shura, and addressing the imbalances in the judicial system to achieve justice and raise injustice against citizens.
The statement pointed out the importance of the forces of the aggression coalition responding to the call for peace launched by the Commander, ending the aggression and the siege, and benefiting from the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman in this path, which would bring peace and achieve stability and security for Yemen and the region.
The statement considered the decisions to represent a solid foundation for achieving comprehensive reform, building a state of institutions, order and law, achieving justice and equality and the goals of the September and October revolutions, and pushing the wheel of development and the economy towards self-sufficiency.
The Shura Council statement noted that the current stage requires everyone to roll up their sleeves and sense responsibility in order to advance the country in various fields in a way that meets the aspirations of the steadfast Yemeni people and achieves official and popular integration in the advancement of the country.
The Council praised the honorable presence of the masses of the Yemeni people on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday and the implications it reflected that confirmed the people’s adherence to their faith identity and the depth of their connection to the Greatest Messenger and the Qur’an revealed to him.
He also praised the efforts of the security services, the organizing committees, the health and media teams, and everyone who participated in the success of the central event in the various squares of the republic.
