RAMALLAH September 26. 2023 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy forces launched early Tuesday morning a campaign of arrests and widespread raids in various areas of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Shehab News Agency quoted local sources as saying enemy forces arrested four young men from the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah.

The sources pointed out that three of the detainees had been detained by the Palestinian Authority security services since last month, and were released a few days ago.

The sources confirmed that enemy forces raided the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, which led to confrontations breaking out inside the town, while enemy forces stormed the city of Jericho from the northern entrance.

A large force of the enemy army also stormed the city of al-Bireh, while another force stormed Asira Street in Nablus.

In its latest report, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said within a week, enemy forces arrested approximately 200 citizens from the West Bank, concentrated in the governorates of Hebron, Nablus, Ramallah, and Jenin, while the total number of arrests since the beginning of this year reached more than 5,000 citizens. .

The Prisoners' Club explained that the number of prisoners in enemy prisons, according to the latest data of the relevant institutions, is approximately 5,100, including more than 1,200 administrative detainees.
