SANA'A August 20. 2023 (Saba)-His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met today,Sunday, at the Presidency House in the capital, Sana'a, the delegation of the brotherly Sultanate of Oman, who is currently visiting Yemen.
Abdulsalam, and the deputy head of the delegation, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan and the head of the Security and Intelligence Service, Major General Abdul Hakim Al-Khaiwani, President Al-Mashat renewed his welcome to the brotherly Omani delegation.
He expressed his thanks for the continued efforts of the brotherly Sultanate of Oman and its endeavors towards achieving peace in Yemen despite the intransigence it faces on the part of the aggression countries, hoping that efforts will lead to results that the Yemeni people will touch and alleviate their suffering.
The President affirmed that it is no longer acceptable to continue the current situation in which the people of Yemen live in light of the continuation of the aggression and all manifestations of the blockade ,starvation, and the transfer of the humanitarian entitlements represented in the payment of the salaries of all state employees, the opening of Sana'a International Airport and the removal of all restrictions imposed on Hodeida ports to a place of negotiation.
He pointed out that Sana'a is with a just peace that guarantees the rights of the Yemeni people, and that has been proven during the last period, and the aggression countries must prove their seriousness in peace, by presenting practical steps in implementing the demands of the Yemeni people represented by the humanitarian file as a humanitarian and just priority.
President Al-Mashat said, "The patience of our people is about to run out, and that people have every right to defend themselves if the enemy closes the doors of peace," reiterating that the time is not open for the enemy to continue and evade the just humanitarian entitlements of the Yemeni people because the enemy continues to evade and win time will return to it with results It does not want.
