GAZA Aug. 15. 2023 (Saba) - Head of the Palestinian Fishermen's Committee Zakaria Bakr said on Tuesday that the Zionist enemy's gunboats arrested two Palestinian fishermen and confiscated their paddle-wheels from the sea in the northern Gaza Strip.
Palestine Today news agency quoted Bakr in an exclusive statement as saying the enemy forces, stationed in gunboats off the northern Gaza Strip, arrested two fishermen from the Sultan's family and confiscated their "Paddles" while they were working two miles off the shore of the northern Gaza Strip.
He explained that the arrested fishermen are Raafat Ali al-Sultan, 50, and Muhammad Rafiq al-Sultan, 25,
Bakr pointed out that enemy boats took the fishermen to an unknown destination, expecting that the boats had confiscated Paddles to anchor it in the port of Ashdod.
It is worth mentioning that enemy boats deliberately attack fishermen in the sea of Gaza every day, shooting them, arresting them, sabotaging their fishing nets, seizing their boats and preventing them from practicing the fishing profession.
