TEHRAN June 22. 2023 (Saba) - Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Sayyed Ali Khamenei has stressed that the Palestinian cause is moving towards progress and prosperity and the importance of a sense of responsibility among the faithful Palestinian youth generation, and their collective and individual presence in the arenas of struggle against the Zionist enemy entity.
According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Sayyed Khamenei's statement came during his meeting with the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh and his accompanying delegation.
Khamenei said the recent developments in Jenin and the siege imposed by the Palestinian youth on the occupation forces, constituted a clear example of this achievement and heralds of a promising future accompanied by the final victory over the occupying entity.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed that the Palestinian issue is the first issue of the Islamic world, the more victories are achieved and the closer it gets to its goals, the more the issues of the nation will be dealt with.
He reaffirmed the issue of unity and coordination among the Palestinian factions more than ever before, adding "We saw during the last battle in Gaza that the enemy's efforts sought to spread division and disagreement between currents of resistance and impose an atmosphere of hatred, but it failed thanks to the Almighty."
Khamenei continued focusing on unity and harmony among the Palestinian resistance factions will facilitate moving in this right direction with all ability.
He pointed out that there is a remarkable difference in the current Palestinian conditions compared to the last two or three years. He said: The main reason that had led to confusion of the Palestinian cause during a not so long period, lies in the lack of presence of Palestinian youth in the arenas, but today we see the participation of these youth In the field spontaneously, and most importantly, they proceed from the teachings of clear Islam.
Khamenei described the Gaza Strip as a pole of resistance, adding: The West Bank, thanks to its qualitative achievements and victories, will definitely bring the enemy to its knees.
