NEW York June 09. 2023 (Saba) - The Islamic Republic of Iran's representative to the United Nations denied that there was an interim agreement in place of the nuclear agreement on the agenda.
The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) quoted Iran's permanent diplomatic mission at United Nations Headquarters last night: "There is no interim agreement instead of the nuclear agreement and it is not on the agenda."
The British site Middle East Eye, citing two unnamed sources, claimed that Iran and the United States were close to reaching an interim agreement to lift some of Iran's embargoes on freezing some of its uranium enrichment activities.
