TEHRAN June 06. 2023 (Saba) - On Tuesday morning, the IRGC Space Air Force announced the unveiling of the Fattah hypersonic missile as its latest achievement in the presence of President Ibrahim Raisi.
The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) stated that "Fattah" is a hypersonic missile capable of passing through the most advanced and sophisticated missile defense systems and capable of targeting missile defense systems that can be among the most important defensive elements of the enemy.
The Commander of the Iranian Army Air Defence Force Brigadier General "Alireza Sabahi-Fard" told on Monday about the latest achievements of the Air Defence Forces: "Good news regarding the Army Air Defence Forces will soon be announced.
"The creation of a second version of the Power 373 system is on the agenda of the Army Air Defence Forces and this new version will be more sophisticated than the first version, and will increase the capabilities of the Air Defence Forces." Fard added.
It is worth mentioning that this tactical-capable rocket is rigid fuel-powered and has the ability to reach very high speeds as well as undertake various manoeuvres inside and outside the Earth's atmosphere to overcome all types of enemy air defence systems, with a range of 1,400 km, as high as before target 13-15 Mach was hit.
