TEHRAN May 24. 2023 (Saba) - Head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Mohammad Eslami has denied the Zionist allegations about building a nuclear site in Zagros, stressing that Iran's activities fall within the standards and guarantees of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
The Iranian news agency (IRNA) quoted an Islamist as saying on the sidelines of the government delegation’s meeting regarding what the Zionist media announced about building a nuclear site in the Zagros Mountains the Zionist enemy has stirred up the atmosphere against Iran through such allegations for years as part of a psychological war.
He added "Whenever the enemy faces problems and difficult circumstances in the region, it resorts to such psychological actions."
The head of the Atomic Energy Organization made it clear that Iran operates in accordance with the agency's standards and guarantees, stressing that whenever we want to carry out any activity, it will be within the framework of these standards.
He went on saying that the enemy always resorts to exerting maximum pressure, provoking the atmosphere, and psychological warfare, but it failed to achieve its goals through these actions, and now it has resorted to raising new issues within the framework of those allegations and demands of the past that have no basis in truth.
