SANA'A May 08. 2023 (Saba) - His Excellency Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, visited on Monday the two test centres for secondary education at Martyrs' Schools in al-Sab'aeen District and al-Mo'atasim at al-Safiyah District in the Capital Secretariat.
During the visit, which was accompanied by the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, the Minister of Local Administration, Ali Al-Qaysi, the Secretary of the Capital, Hamoud Obbad, and the Deputy Minister of Education, Khaled Jahadir, His Excellency the President blessed the commencement of the students males and females General Secondary Tests wishing them well and success.
He said: "Today, eight years after the American-Saudi aggression against our dear Yemeni people, whose main objective was to destroy the educational process, target schools and cut teachers' salaries, we are witnessing the end of the school year tests for the basic and secondary levels."
In eight years of aggression, the Yemeni people had provided the best examples of cooperation between the people and the State. Males and females teachers had continued their jihadist role in education and citizens had played their supporting role in demonstrating to all that education was a shared responsibility between the State and the citizen.
His Excellency the President explained that enemies were focused on targeting the young generation; Being the present of the nation, its future and its strength. Pointed out that part of this war is designed to change the curriculum in line with the American and Zionist mood, delete the verses of jihad, compass the hostility, present the enemies as friends, and plant them with misconceptions.
