SANA'A April 17. 2023 (Saba)- His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, received on Monday the liberated prisoners from the prisons of the aggression forces and mercenaries.
During the reception, President Al-Mashat blessed the prisoners and their families and all the Yemeni people for this great victory and great joy.
He addressed the liberated prisoners, saying, "Sayyid Leader, may God protect him, is following moment by moment the humanitarian side, and you were and still are our priorities."
He pointed out that the enemies have always sought to politicize the humanitarian file and put it for political bidding .. He said, "We are living through the anxiety and distress of your honorable families, and this concern remains until the release of every prisoner in the grip of the enemy."
His Excellency the President stated that during the negotiations, the mercenaries sought to demand the removal of their relatives and families only, and did not even care about their colleagues and fighters.
He added, "We went through many rounds in order to release the prisoners, despite the obstacles imposed by the enemies, and in the years of torment and separation, God enabled us, with His grace, to form a force and a military arsenal that protects the land and defends the people and is sufficient to defeat the invaders and occupiers."
President Al-Mashat urged the prisoners to preserve the spirituality of faith and what they have memorized from the Book of God, and to make this an incentive for them to set off for God's sake and complete the path until the glorious victory.
"My message to those who are still behind bars, I promise you and your honorable families, is that we will do our best to release you, whatever the price and challenges," he added.
