GAZA March 25. 2023 (Saba)- The official of the media office of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) in Palestine, Muhammad al-Buraimi, said that targeting American bases in Syria with missiles and marches is a strong message from the parties to the resistance axis, which confirms that they do not accept the continued targeting of Syrian citizens and sites without a response.
Al-Buraim added, in an exclusive statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): The targeting of the American bases confirms the consolidation of a new equation of conflict in the region, specifically in the Syrian territory.
Al-Buraim pointed out that the continuous attacks by the United States of America on several areas in the Syrian arena and the targeting of civilians is a major aggression against Syria to support Zionist interests in the region.
He added, "This aggression should not have gone unnoticed and had to be met with a price, which is the escalation of the confrontation by the parties to the axis of resistance in the Syrian arena against the American presence."
The official of the media office in the PRC pointed out that Syria is exposed to the same aggression that the Palestinian people are exposed to, and nothing can curb this aggression except more solidarity and unity and more deterrence of this enemy.
And he added: "We believe that the impact of this will have shadows on the level of our Palestinian cause, and therefore these flows into the same equation that was established by the resistance in Gaza Strip and all of Palestine, which is that everything must be met with a price, and that this aggression is only repelled by the resistance."
Al-Buraim concluded by saluting the "blessed response" from the resistance axis to this American aggression, which establishes a new phase in which America must know that nothing is without a price and that any aggression against the people of Syria and any of the sites affiliated with the Syrian state will have a price.
And media sources in Damascus reported that a number of missiles fell on the American bases in the Koniko field, east of the Euphrates River in Syria, which led to a fire in the field and several injuries.
This comes after a missile strike targeted the US coalition bases in the Koniko and Al-Omar oil fields in the countryside of Deir Ezzor yesterday evening.
And the US Department of Defense (The Pentagon) announced at dawn yesterday that its forces had launched air strikes in Syria, “in response” to a “fatal attack” by drones.
