BEIRUT March 23. 2023 (Saba) - Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that from the first day of the aggression against Yemen "we have stood by the Yemeni people and this is a position we are proud of".
Nasrallah added that "a solution may be reached due to regional factors in the region and this is what we call for."
This came in a speech he delivered in a memorial ceremony for late founding leader Hajj Hussein al-Shami, according to al-Manar website.
Sayyed Nasrallah added that "We hope that things in Yemen will follow the path of ending the aggression and blockade and the return of Yemen to the Yemeni people."
He said "The incident in the north of occupied Palestine confused the Zionist enemy at its various levels and many commented on Hezbollah's silence and our silence is part of the psychological media battle with the enemy."
Nasrallah added "It is not our responsibility to answer what confuses the enemy and sometimes our answer is in not commenting on the incident."
He stressed that "the Israeli today is in trouble and in the history of this temporary usurping entity, there has not been weakness, impasse, crisis, confusion, internal conflict, despair and mistrust, as is happening now."
Sayyed Nasrallah asked "Is there a minister in a government that wants to build relations with Arab countries and says there is no Palestinian people, or wants to wipe out Hawara?"... pointing out that "when the leadership of the enemy becomes fools of this level, we realize that the end is near and the enemy threatens us in it, it could be a reason for its demise."
He stressed that "the resistance in Lebanon is in its era and its decision that any attack on any person present on Lebanese territory, whether he is Lebanese, Palestinian, or of another nationality, or an attack on a Lebanese region, and we will respond to it decisively and quickly and this must be understood."
