MOSCOW March 08. 2023 (Saba) - The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday the downing of 5 Ukrainian marches and the liquidation of more than 485 Ukrainian soldiers, amid the progress of the Russian forces on all axes.
The Russia Today website quoted the ministry in its daily statement on the progress of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, saying that the Russian forces managed in the Kobyansk axis, from the defeat of Ukrainian military units in the Berestovo, Senkovka and Krakhmalno regions of the Kharkov region and Razovka in the Luhansk People's Republic, as well as the thwarting of offensive attempts by ten sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Ukrainian forces in the regions of Tabayevka, Gryannikovka and Olshana in the Kharkov region, Artemovka, Novoselovskoye and Stelmakhovka in the Luhansk People's Republic, Up to 60 Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated and Akatsiya self-propelled howitzers were destroyed.
In the Krasny Limansk axis, the Russian forces managed to defeat units of the Ukrainian forces in the regions of Nevskoye, Novolubovka, Chervonopopovka, Chervonaya Dibrova in the Luhansk People's Republic and Grigorovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, and as a result of the ongoing operations, 130 Ukrainian soldiers were liquidated, and Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers were destroyed.
In the Donetsk axis, the Ukrainian forces were defeated, more than 180 soldiers were liquidated, and five self-propelled howitzers "Acacia" and one self-propelled howitzer "Gvozdika" were destroyed.
In the axes of southern Donetsk and Zaporozhye, our forces defeated the Ukrainian forces in the regions of Oglidar, Pavlovka and Novoselka in the Donetsk People's Republic and Novodanilovka in the Zaporozhye region, up to 65 Ukrainian soldiers were destroyed, military equipment and vehicles and Msta-B howitzers were destroyed.
In the Kherson axis, more than 50 Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated and D-30 howitzers were destroyed.
Also, a Ukrainian radar station for detecting low-flying air targets 36D6 was destroyed in the Nova Aleksandrovka area of the Donetsk People's Republic.
In the area of the village of Mamryk of the Donetsk People's Republic, the headquarters of the 59th Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed.
Our air defense systems shot down four HIMARS multiple launch missiles and destroyed five Ukrainian drones in the regions of Novaya Kakhovka, Nikolaevka, Kherson region, Chervono-Armysky, Zaporozhye and Nikolskoye regions of the Donetsk Republic, Shepilovka of the Luhansk People's Republic.
