SANA'A March 01. 2023 (Saba)- Parliament, in its session held today, headed by the Deputy Speaker of the parlaiment, Akram Abdullah Attia, reviewed the Transport and Communications Committee's report regarding the memorandum of the President of the Supreme Political Council, which includes the observations of the Public Authority for Environmental Protection and the Public Authority for Water Resources on the meteorological law draft.
The Council postponed its discussion of the report to a future session.
In addition, parliament reviewed, in its session today, the Public Freedoms and Human Rights Committee's briefing regarding its field visit to the Central Prison Correctional Institution in the capital's secretariat to inspect the conditions of prisons .
The briefing included the correspondences made by the committee to the government side in the relevant authorities, as well as what is related to the committee's mission and its meetings with the government side, in addition to what is related to its field visits and visit to the Central Prison Correctional Facility.
The council postponed its discussion of the briefing provided by the committee to a next session in the presence of the concerned government side.
