SANA'A January 21. 2023 (Saba) - The spokesman for the National Salvation Government, Minister of Information Dhaifallah al-Shami, strongly condemned the burning of copies of the Qur'an in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, by the leader of the Danish far-right "hard line" party, Rasmus Paludan.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Al-Shami considered this disgraceful act a provocative crime against Muslims' feelings in the world, and at the same time expresses the extent of the hatred and criminality of the nation's enemies against Islam and Muslims.
He pointed out that the continuation of the nation enemies in burning copies of the Noble Qur’an reflects their satanic endeavors to fight the teachings, values, morals, and behaviors that came with the, which falsehood does not come to from before it or from behind it.
Al-Shami called on the Islamic nation peoples, scholars and governments to take angry positions regarding the crime of burning copies of the Holy Quran, which provokes the Muslims' feelings.
He also called on the Danish and Swedish authorities to punish the criminals and take deterrent measures against instigators against Islam and Muslims and to apologize to the Islamic nation for the crimes of burning copies of Holy Qur’an.
