SANA'A, June 06 (Saba) - Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Monday praised the great performance of the Ministry of Culture and its affiliates and their tangible achievements over the past years.

This came during his meeting with Minister of Culture Abdullah Al-Kibsi, who handed him a report on the most prominent achievements carried out by the ministry and its bodies during the past period.

The report dealt with the nature of the tasks of the ministry, which deals with the issues of the intellectuals, including writers and poets, and the Yemeni heritage and ancient history, and the responsibility to preserve, protect and publicize it nationally, regionally and internationally.

The report touched on what the ministry has achieved in the areas of structural building development, maintenance and restoration of manuscripts, electronic documentation of artifacts, and restoration, rescue and maintenance of many historical evidence embodying the depth and sophistication of Yemeni civilization.
