HODEIDA, May 29 (Saba) - A meeting in Al-Hodeida province was headed by Governor Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, discussed the projects that the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) will implement in the service and development sectors in the province during the years 2022 AD-2023 AD.

The meeting included the first deputy of the province, Ahmed Al-Bishri, the province’s deputy, Abdul-Jabbar Ahmed Muhammad, and the engineer of UNEPs projects in Hodeida, Amran and Sa'ada.

During the meeting, Governor Qahim stressed the importance of focusing on priorities, especially water and sanitation services, which have reached a deteriorating level in Hodeida city.

He praised UNEP's efforts in implementing service projects, stressing overcoming the difficulties facing the humanitarian activities of the Office.
