SANA'A, Apr. 22 (Saba) - The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) said on Friday that the aggression detained a new diesel ship despite clearing by the United Nations.
YPC's spokesman Essam al-Mutawakel said that the aggression coalition is still practicing piracy on fuel ships, as it detained the emergency diesel ship, "Empire", loaded with a quantity of 30,899 tons, although it has been cleared by the United Nations.
Al-Mutawakel demanded the release of the detained fuel ships immediately, as the service sectors (including health, electricity, water, and transportation) are running out of fuel.
He said that the continued detention of oil derivatives ships increases the suffering of the Yemeni people and raises the delay fines resulting from piracy.
