Marking Martyr Day, revolution leader stresses Islamic nation's unity against enemy

SANA'A, Jan. 04 (Saba) - Revolution leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi has affirmed the Islamic nation is one regardless of how many numbers of Islamic countries in the world.

Al-Houthi said the peoples of these countries should strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation to strengthen unity against the enemy of the nation.

In his speech on Sunday on the occasion of the martyr’s anniversary, al-Houthi added the Islamic Nation faces a threat led by the United States of America and the Israeli Zionist entity, including the puppet regimes that serve them.

Al-Houthi pointed out the Nation today is concerned with strengthening efforts and consolidating the level of cooperation as it is being a single Islamic nation.

He clarified that the enemy targets all, adding " we cannot divide the battle'', pointing to the tools of America and Israel that seek to besiege every people separately.

Al-Houthi reiterated that the Palestinian Issue will remain a central issue, especially in the hearts of the Yemeni people, regardless of its neglect by others.

He noted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia arrests and tortures activists affiliated with Hamas movement because they prop up the resistance against the Israeli enemy.

Houthi also noted the US does not view the Saudi regime as its main ally in the region, but rather like a milking cow.

The Leader said that those who sided with Israel under the American flag were deviants, referring to the Arab regimes that had signed normalization agreements with the enemy.

Referring to the sacrifices of the martyrs, the great martyrs Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated by America because they were leaders of the free people of this nation, he said.

The United States killed Soleimani and al-Muhandis because the two martyrs spearheaded the campaign against Washington’s hegemony in the region, the revolution leader said.

He added the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran liberated the country from the US hegemony.

“All efforts to introduce Iran and the countries of the resistance as enemies are aimed at distancing Islamic nations from confronting their real enemies. The first parties to talk about the Iranian threat were Americans and Zionists, and Saudis and Emirati later followed the suit,” Houthi said.

Al-Houthi emphasized the need for Muslims around the world to free themselves from tyranny and oppression, noting that the plots of enemies are aimed at achieving full domination over Islamic countries and exploiting their resources and geographical location for their own purposes.

Al-Houthi also stressed the importance of the Islamic nation’s move to counter those conspiracies.

In this regard, the leader said Syrian, Iraqi and Bahraini nations embody the virtues of steadfastness and readiness for sacrifice.

“To be freed from the control of tyrants, we must be fully prepared for sacrifice,” the Leader of Revolution said.

“We need to consolidate the concept of martyrdom for the sake of Allah to confront the tyrants of the age; America, Israel and their agents in the nation,” he explained.

The Revolution Leader emphasized the responsibility of society and the state towards the families of the martyrs.

He alo stressed the importance of commemorating the martyrs to highlight the level and volume of steadfastness and the strength of will to liberate the nation from the control of tyrants.
