Hodeidah – SABA:
Governor of Hodeidah, Abdullah Atifi, inspected today the workflow and level of medical services provided to citizens at Al-Amal Al-Arabi Hospital in the city center.
During the visit, the governor, accompanied by a number of executive office directors, toured various specialized departments and treatment facilities at the hospital. He was briefed by the hospital director, Dr. Abdulmajid Al-Yousfi, on the hospital’s key medical services in consultation, diagnostics, and treatment, particularly at the Cardiology and Catheterization Center, modern laboratories, and the overall development in equipment and medical staff.
Governor Atifi praised the quality of medical and humanitarian services provided by the hospital’s management and staff, commending their dedication and professionalism—especially during critical times when the hospital received numerous wounded and injured patients, providing them with essential care.
He emphasized the complementary role of private hospitals alongside the public health sector, underscoring the importance of enhanced cooperation and coordination between both sectors to advance healthcare in the governorate.
The governor urged all parties to expand health service coverage to reach the widest segment of the population, in light of growing needs and demographic pressures.
For his part, the hospital director expressed appreciation for the visit and the local leadership’s interest in the health sector, affirming the hospital’s commitment to continuously improve services and expand medical specialties in line with patient needs and to elevate healthcare standards in the governorate.
