SANAA, Sep. 16  (Saba) - The Ministry of Transport and the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology have condemned the direct and deliberate targeting of the Saudi aggression coalition warplanes for the new Sanaa International Airport project building and  the destruction of its vital infrastructure and services and vital and service facilities.

A statement issued by the Ministry and the Authority, Saba got a copy of it, confirmed that targeting the aggression warplanes against civilian and vital installations reveals the hatred of the Saudi aggression coalition against the Yemeni people.

The statement pointed out that the Saudi aggression coalition forces targeted, last Sunday evening, the building of the new Sanaa airport project,  causing significant damage to the third floor of the terminal and part of the airport wall and one of the project facilities.

The statement pointed out that the number of the aggression's air raids on the new Sanaa International Airport project building and its annexes amounted to about 87 since the beginning of the aggression.

The Ministry of Transport and the General Authority of Civil Aviation indicated that the new Sanaa Airport project is one of the civilian facilities of strategic and economic importance, targeting of civilian facilities is prohibited and criminalized by international laws, charters and agreements.
