Hajjah university rector Dr. Mohammed al-Khalid on Thursday launched the admission and competitive examinations for students seeking to enroll in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences.
These exams cover the parallel program for Human Medicine and the general program for Pharmacy for the academic year 1447 AH.
During the launch, attended by University Secretary-General Nasser al-Asmi, Dr. al-Khalid emphasized that the competitive selection process is crucial for ensuring the admission of outstanding students capable of efficiently shouldering healthcare responsibilities.
He urged students to focus on securing a spot in the general program and commended the efforts of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences' deanship and teaching staff in supporting Hajjah University.
Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences Dr. Yahya al-Qadhi stated that 80 male and female students are competing for 60 seats in the Human Medicine parallel program.
He added that 33 students are vying for 20 seats in the general Pharmacy program, affirming the college's commitment to providing an optimal environment for the exams.
The launch was attended by college deans, vice-deans, and several general managers, academics, and administrative staff from the university.
