SANAA, Nov. 18 (Saba) - A recent study concluded that there was no link between insomnia and early death, and that people with insomnia and lack of sleep would not likely do so.

A new report published in the journal "Sleep Medicine" British that there is no relationship between insomnia and premature death.

The scientists reviewed 17 studies, involving nearly 37 million people, to collect their findings.

The report contradicts the findings of the National Health Service in Britain, which said that in addition to exposure to obesity, heart disease and type 2 diabetes, insomnia shortens life expectancy.

But for those who suffer from insomnia, persistent anxiety about the relationship between sleep deprivation and short life span will not worry them anymore.

It is believed that about 30 in the UK population are insomniac, so it is likely that someone near you while reading this report suffers from the effects of sleep deprivation.

The NHS recommends that insomniacs exercise during the day and reduce the intake of caffeinated beverages.

She also says that smoking and eating in large amounts late can lead to preventing you from sleeping well.

Other recommendations include writing a list of things that capture your mind, as well as trying to go to sleep at a similar time every night.

However, although the new report may dispel concern about the link between insomnia and premature death, the report still links insomnia and diseases, such as dementia and depression, according to the British newspaper The Times.
