Tehran - Saba:
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf affirmed that the Iranian people inflicted the greatest defeat on the enemy, noting that it was the people who slapped the enemy in the face and that the Iranian people have a deep connection to their country.
In remarks reported Sunday by the Iranian news agency IRNA, Qalibaf stated: “The duty given to us all by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is to be guardians of this national cause. It is our collective responsibility to avoid anything that weakens unity and cohesion, and to protect ourselves from those who benefit from division and discord.”
He added, “The main strategy is to make Iran stronger across various fields. This will compel the enemy to respond to the legitimate demands of the Iranian people, rather than seeking imposed peace or imposed war.”
Commenting on the Zionist entity’s brutal attacks on Damascus, Qalibaf said: “Iran has always stood by the Syrian people and defends their unity and territorial integrity,” adding, “the broad attacks by the Zionist regime against the agents of the hegemonic system carry significant messages.”
He continued, “The Islamic nation has now realized that Damascus will not be the last capital of a Muslim country to be attacked by this entity. Islamic countries and peoples must unite to restrain the rabid American dog before these flames consume them.”
Qalibaf stressed that the goal of this usurping entity is to destabilize the Islamic world, disarm it, divide it, and expand its influence.
He warned: “Governments that have tied their security to the ambitions of this criminal entity are living in a bubble in a turbulent sea and have little time left to preserve their territorial integrity.”
He asserted that the Zionist entity is the enemy of any form of peace, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity throughout the region, and the only language it understands is the language of force.
Qalibaf concluded: “The bombing of all Syrian defense installations in recent months, the aggression against Damascus, threats to occupy its lands, and open attempts to divide the country have made it clear—even to the naïve—who believed obedience to this wild rabid dog would bring peace and stability.”
He added, “It is now time for Islamic countries to stand up to this greedy entity, defeat it, and support the Islamic nation.”
