SANAA, July 8 (Saba) – The Yemen army and popular committees shot dead 595 of Saudi-paid mercenaries, destroyed 19 of their military vehicles and burned weapons’ stores during June, a military official told Saba News Agency on Sunday.
The sniper unit of the army and committees shot dead 10 of Saudi soldiers and 14 of Sudanese soldiers while eight of the mercenaries were injuring.
In Marib, Nehm and Jawf fronts, the army and committees killed 259 of mercenaries in sniping operations.
In Hodeidah province, 122 of mercenaries were sniped along the West Coast.
In additional, a total of 121 mercenaries were killed in sniper attacks on the central front, while 93 Saudi soldiers and mercenaries were killed in operations of sniper units on beyond front lines.
Meanwhile, the unit snipers of the army and committees damaged more than 19 US armored, military vehicles and five guns machines with modern locally developed sniper shells on several fronts as well as the army and committees burned ammunition store on the West Coast Front.
The sniper unit of the army and popular committees will achieve surprises in the coming days according to the development of battles on several fronts, especially the Western Coast Front.
